Cabbage Fried Noodles
(Generously feeds a family of 4)
2lbs Jaworski’s Old World Recipe Polish Sausage
2lb Kluski Noodles
1lb Shredded Green Cabbage
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Red Pepper Flake to taste
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Season the water with a generous amount of salt. (or better yet use chicken stock to cook your noodles for the real authentic flavor.) Add the noodles and cook until just tender. Drain and set aside
- Slice sausage casing and place the loose sausage into a sauté pan. Cook. Break up the sausage into bite sized pieces. Cook until caramelized. Using a slotted spoon transfer the cook sausage into a bowl.
- Add the cabbage to the sauté pan used to cook the sausage. Season the cabbage with salt, pepper and red pepper flake to taste. Cook on high until the cabbage is tender. Add the Worcestershire sauce
- Add the noodles, sausage and cabbage back into the pot used to cook the noodles. Stir to combine and enjoy!
